      Dear SOCM-Forum moderator/Very Rev.Thomas Cor Episcopa
Ref: Message 3 of digest 687 on Sunday school

That is a very informative information. May suggest a few
more points. for the benefit of SS students

      (1) Teach Bible truth to senior students and parents also.
They should relaize that Holy Bible is the word of God.
In the Junior classes we teach (KG-7) most of the lessons
are based on Bible. In higher classes Bible is taught less.
So parents and children neglect bible study. Most of the adults
and children study Bible when they come to gulf especially
      S.Arabia.

      (2) Teach students and parents about missionary work and
evangelism. By the age of 20 one boy/girl should be able to
teach Bible to even non christians. People without Bible
knowledge would worship both God and idols.

      (3) Teach people on the application of Bible truth in their lives,
so that they will trust in the Christ for healing, for love,
for salvation, for solution of problems etc. Many years ago one
(late) Thirumeni (80+) said that he never believed what he preached
for many years about healing from Jesus until he himself was healed
by prayer of a few faithful chrsitians to Jesus.

      Regards
      Philip
