James Trimm has posted a message on the Hugoye forum bringing
attention to the Art Magazine report on the ancient Syriac ms.
discovered at the Deir al-Surian monastery in Wadi Natrun, Egypt.
      The report is at http://www.forbes.com/2002/05/29/0529conn.html
and includes pictures of the monastery.

Deir al-Surian was for several centuries a monastery of the Syrian
Orthodox in Egypt and now with the Coptic Orthodox. Several reports
related to these finds have been published Prof. Lucas Van Rompay
and his colleagues in recent issues of the Hugoye
      http://www.bethmardutho.org/Hugoye/.
