In the list of churches from Ankamaly diocese to be represented in the
IOC malankara Association, I have found that almost all the Syrian
churches are included; some don’t sent representatives, for some
outside members representing individual churches, for some father and
son representing( eg: Mazhuvannor St. Thomas), in one case (Mathoma
Cheriya Pally) brothers are representing. In the final analysis, what
IOC is going to achieve putting all these churches, majority of them
are not under their control, to be represented in the association.
According to the kalpana of IOC Catholica, each parish general body
has to be convened for this special purpose and the representatives
must be duly elected. But in these churches did a general body convene
so do they really represent the churches in the Association? If some
one assume the March 20 Association election is going to be rigged by
making false membership, can IOC blame him?. Can anyone really assume
that the elected candidate has got genuine majority in the election?
At the same time IOC has no other option but to include Jacobite
churches in the Association meeting because for them MOSC is
IOC+Jacobites. They still live in fool’s paradise. Let the learned
Kerala society understand the hypocrisy of IOC
