We received with great shock the news of the sad demise of our brother T M Jacob. This loss is not only for the bereaved family but to whole Jacobite community.Commander T M Jacob stood for our FAITH.

Eventhough having a different political view,I am with Anoop Jacob.
My Church needs my vote, Money lovers are looking for a fall of our FAITH.In this challenging times, we need to have a minister in the Cabinet.CPI wont even ask for IO's 600-800 votes in Piravom assembly.Even with just 2 member majority this goverment may survive for another 3 years. But the normal trick will continue to play - 'IO voted against whoever FAILED in the election'!

Check the way problems are created Kolencherry->Kandanadu->PuthenKurishu->Mammalassery->
Now what Piravom ? especially coming months being the 'DANAHA Perunnal time'?

The 'Mannuthi' logic of -> avoiding PAMPAKKUDA,but focus all churches in booming real estate market 'Eranakulam' -> is known to entire Kerala public.

I really wonder what magic works in Pampakkuda which is surrounded by Jacobite faithfuls. For parumala seminary we never put any claim even though we have 1000s of faithful around. We still trying hard for a Church constructed at our own land there!

For the next session in Kolencherry church case,as usual, they will argue quoting not against Patriarch and ready for REFERENDUM in a 'REASONABLE' time. Hope we have proper answers for it.We need a date&time for Referendum.!

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SOCM-FORUM/message/21853 is best available proof for their Patriarch love. Heard news regarding those GULF churches, our Patriarch took initiative and constructed for Jacobites. We MUST start demanding prayer rights for these GULF Based churches.Since it being the ARAB WORLD and Churches are registered as SYRIAN Church, there are many strong points to win cases in ARAB states.

Time has come to consider 'energising' our legal cell by including all the legal experts who worked hard for the current 'wins' in puthenkuriz, kothamangalam & Kandanadu.

As reported by Mangalam, if the other side deciding to spend time and resources to invoke cases against each individual Jacobite churches then - There is an urgent need for all churches to participate and help form a STRONG legal council.

To end, another news making round related to Kolencherry will be the latest decision of Medical council of India making a common exam for MBBS.This will make 'OWN' college to come to media and debate.College looks to be registered under ICC ie: Inter Church Council and Not as a private institution.

      Link : http://www.kcpcmf.in/index.php
Hope the Kolenchery Church has some role in this College.

      Amen,

      Abraham

I think we need not worry about Anup Jacob victory, because it is a do or die situation for the UDF government. That does not mean that we should be passive

I think we need not worry about Anup Jacob' victory, because it is a
do or die situation for the UDF government. That does not mean that
we should be passive in this by-election. In fact if one goes back
to the last two elections in Pirvam, then the question will be raised
why an LDF candidate won in 2006 and why TM Jacob was managed to get
only 157 margin in 2011. The reason is that in 2006, entire Jacobite
in the Ernakulam dist was against the then UDF Govt under Oomman
Chandy, because of Thrikkunnathu Seminary incident of 2005, and also
at the last moment Jacab's DIC (Karunakaran"s Party) allied with UDF,
so there was lot of confusion about Jacob"s candidature. so he lost
        the election.

While in 2011, though there was a pro-UDF wave in Ernakulam dist, TM
Jacob couldn't garner that support for him,the reason is that, on the
one hand LDF candidate Mr. M J Jacob was popular in the entire area as
he so sincere and no curruption allegation against him, on the other
, i think more important for the thin margin for Jacob was that, it
was KPPCCs and Omman Chandy's secret agenda was to get small parties
marginalised from the electoral politics form kerala. Look at the
other small party"s share in the current UDF set up , Socialist
Janatha , only two, no CMP, no JSS (Gauriamma), and they wanted no TM
Jacob also, so the congress workers in Piravan didnt work for TM
Jacob in 2011, that is why he got only 157 vote margin.

But this time it is the same Omman Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala have
to work hard for Anoop Jacvob's victory. "By the way there i sa
conflicting report that some say MJ jacob is an Orthodox while some
media quoted that he is a Jacobite, can anyone from that area say the
        correct picture.
