      Thank you for expanding on this. If the India mentioned in the story of St. Joasaph is in Ethiopia, then it makes sense. Because none of the Churches in India, Church of the East (Nestrorian), Malankara Syriac (Oriental Orthodox) or Syro-Malabar (Roman Catholic Eastern Rite) commemorates the memory of St. Joasaph.

      The story on the OCA website, talks about St. Thomas the Apostle evangelizing India. There is no tradition of St. Thomas going to Ethiopia right? It was St. Mark and St. Matthew who spread the Gospel in Ethiopia right?
