      What spirit?

86 years old Annama passed away leaving 3 sons and 3 daughters with their great grand children. When she was alive the children kicked her just like a football. At last she died in one of her son’s house. Then came all her kith and kin’s with wreaths, film, and mike. Even in the in the cemetery there was a commotion. Words of anger flew and struck unwanted places. 40 days groups wise they arranged holy mass and prayers. 41 day celebrated in different houses with mud sliding each other. Still hurt continues.

      My thoughts

Does the soul of the departed get any benefits?

Is it the way to treat the parents in their old age?

Does any responsibility on the shoulders of the spiritual authority to reconcile the warring groups and then only extend the church services?

Does it only help enhancing the hubris of the stakeholders?

Is it added only the coffers of the church and the ecclesiastical orders?

Does it hurt the mission of the church?

To get eternal life we should honor our parents, that is the dictum of the creator, no excuse for any reasons.

“Honor YOUR FATHER and mother. Then you will live long, full life in the land of the lord your GOD IS GIVING YOU”. (EXODUS 20:12)

      Love.
