      ALEPPO, SYRIA: The World Syriac Conference concluded at Bar Ebroyo Centre for Syriac Studies at the Archdiocesan Headquarters here on
      July 03, Saturday. Archbishop Mor Gregorios Youhanna Ibrahim inaugurated the conference on July 01, Thursday. Delegates from United States of America, Canada, India, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Lebanon, and Syria participated in the conference. World Famous Syriac Scholars including Dr. Hidemi Takahashmi, Professor of Oriental Studies from Japan and Dr. Khalid
      presented papers in the conference on various days. Very Rev. Dr. Kuriakose Cor Episcopus Moolayil D.Min represented Holy Jacobite Syriac Orthodox Church from Malankara and presented paper on the studies of Bar Ebroyo.

      Knanaya Social Forum honours Eldhose Mathews Punnoose

      KOTTAYAM: The first Knanaya Jacobite who got IAS selection, Mr. Eldhose Mathews Punnoose was honoured by Knanaya Social Forum, a joint forum of Knanaya Jacobites and Knanaya Catholics at B.C.M
      College. Forum President Prof. E. P Mathews presided over the function and handed over the memento to Mr. Eldhose. K. K Kuruvila, Thomas John, Prof. P. K Scaria, Philip Chandy spoke on the occasion.
