      Dear Dn. Prince

What you have told is correct. Pantenus called an young historian who was the member of Alexandrian church visited India. But he was not a Bishop. According to our faith every christians who follows the Word of God can be considered as saint. According to the history of Coptic Orthodox Church the visit of Pantenus is considered not in the missionary dimention but as in historical perspective. Pantenus was a Christian and he was in a mission of recording the history of whole Christindom. On this journey he reached India.
