God and the 'Mother'
- Dear brethren,
The God and the Mother
All of us have time and again heard insermons, different interpretation on the happenings and substances in that Wedding in Cana, glorifying the divine Mother and sometimes(from the new era believers) the other way around also.
I would like to share something always came to my mind; perhapsdifferent from what we heard in the sermons.
It isabout the substance of these chapter highlighting the position of 'mother' in our life. It is clear from the scriptures, that the happenings in the Wedding of Cana was not according Jesuss scheme of things. He was neither prepared nor willing to go public at that point of time.
Here, two points are important for us ponder:
1)Jesus,being God himself, obeyed mother and thereby honored the motherhood over and above everything else.
2)Mother, seeks son's help because she had full trust and belief in her son.
Of course, she knew he is Son of God. In spite of his inital expression of dislike and unwillingness, she confidently went and asked others to follow his command as she had no doubt about her son.
Those who are still lucky to have their mothers, keep these in mind.
GOD CANNOT BE EVERYWHERE; SO HE CREATED MOTHERS
There happened to be only one woman in this world; who was:-
A Gift of God,
A servant in the abodes of God,
The chosen Bride of God,
The Mother of God,
Taken to Heaven, to be with Godat Hisright side.
