      We have great pleasure to announce that as per the directives from the Jacobite Syrian Christian Church Viswasa Samrakshna Samiti President, His Grace Elias Mor Athanasios, Metropolitan, first meeting of the Delhi Zonal Viswasa Samrakshna Samiti was held on 2nd October 2007 at St. Peter's Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Cathedral, New Delhi (Eastern Cathedral of the Patriarch of Antioch). The meeting was attended by more than hundred members from various parishes of Delhi Zone of Outside Kerala Diocese of the Jacobite Syrian Christian Church. The meeting has unanimously adopted the 2002 constitution of the Jacobite Syrian Chrisitian Church and congratulated the Parishes and the Cathedral for adopting the 2002 constitution and also requested the remaining parishes of the Outside Kerala Diocese to adopt the Church Constitution.

      The meeting unanimously passed resolutions reaffirming complete loyalty and obedience to His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas, the prince Patriarch of Antioch & All the East and also the Supreme Head of the Universal Syrian Orthodox Church; His Beatitude Aboon Mor Basalios Thomas I, Catholicose and Metropolitan Trustee; Holy Apostolic Synod in India and all its Metropolitans. The meeting made earnest requests to the Holy Synod, Working Committee and Managing Committee of the Jacobite Syrian Christian Church to take necessary steps to enable the return of the Outside Kerala Diocese to the Mother Church and to include all the Parishes outside Kerala (within India) in the list of Jacobite Parishes. Meeting also requested the Jacobite Syrian Christian Association that adequate representatives from the Outside Kerala Diocese may please be included in the official list of the Jacobite parishes/Dioceses since at present there is no representation from Outside Kerala parishes to the Higher Bodies of the Jacobite Syrian Christian
      Church. Meeting also resolved unanimously not to associate with any activities of the Syrian Orthodox Archdiocese of Greater India till the time it returns to the mainstream of the Holy Church.

      Meeting elected unanimously the following Committee for the Delhi Zone of Viswasasamrakshna Samiti:
