      While hearing the appeal of MOSC against the judgement of Kerala High Court regarding Police Protection case, the Supreme Court rejected the plea of IOC to replace Late Mathews II Bawa's name with the present Catholicose Didimos I as the applellant, as per the Jacobite Church Secretary Thambu George Thukalan. SC Judges S.B. Sinha and Markendya Kadju also rejected the IOC plea to accord police protection to enter into the Jacobite Churches.

      However, the court adjorned the case to hear on 3rd April, regarding IOC's request to remove the findings of Kerala High Court on other matters.

      Mr. Thambu George also informed that in the next hearing Jacobite Church will be represented by the S.C. Senior Advocate C.S. Vaidyanathan and Adv. Santhibhushan will represent for Parish churches and Adv. Anil Divan will represent for the Marthoma Cheriya Palli.
