    New Jersey: The culmination of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Malankara Archdiocese in North America was marked by formally launching the Archdiocese Patriarchal Center with a vision to address the present and future needs of the Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Christian faithful of North America. In the inaugural meeting Chaired by H.E. Archbishop Mor Theethose Yeldho, the Convenor of the project Mr. Saju Skaria (Arizona), shared the vision and objectives of the Center. According to Mr.Saju Skaria , the Center that will be established in phases is envisioned to have an administrative office, Chapel, Bishop's house, Guest House, Convention Center, Business Center, and an  affiliated Theological Seminary and University.

    A twelve member committee with Archbishop His Eminence Mor Theethose Yeldho, as Chairman and Mr. Saju Skaria (Arizona) as Convener has already resumed the initial operations of the project. It was informed that the committee will be further expanded to include subject matter experts and members from parishes across the Archdiocese.

    Rev Dr Varghese Manikat, Archdiocese Secretary offered welcome for the public meeting. The project was formally inaugurated by H.E. Archbishop Mor Theethose Yeldho by accepting an initial check of $25,000 (twenty five thousand dollars) from Archdiocese Treasurer Mr. Abraham Mathew. Silver Jubilee Convener Mr Joby George, National Coordinator George Korath, Archdiocesan Council Members, Jubilee Committee Members, Members of the building committee and leaders of other spiritual organizations participated in this historic event.
