      Bruce,

You may be looking for Selo in Slovenia. Formerly Tót-Lak (Nagytótlak) in Muraszombat Járás, Vas Megye, Hungary.
There were no churches in Selo, but the following churches were nearby.

      Lutheran in Keresztur
      Roman Catholic in Szentbenedek
      Reformed Church in Kercza

You may be able to find church records at Latter Day Saints. It will help if you know the religion of your ancestors. Otherwise you will have to go through the records for all 3 churches.

You can find Totlak on the following map of Vas Megye.

Looking for assistance on any ancestral family or to confirm towns
      for the following:

Johan or John Marolt married Maria or Mary Mestek around 1901 in
Velike Loisce. Mary was the only remaining family member with
Father, Marlin or Martin Mestek of Solonum. Also Mary's immigration
papers said her last residence was with Father in Sela, Hungary but
      the manifest listed Sela, Austria.

John, Sr. immigarted to the US in 1901 or 1902. Mary and son John
Jr, immigrated to the United States from Havre, FR aboard the SS
Chicago; to New York, arriving 3-3-1910.

Family lore says that John and Mary were both Slovenian.

      Can someone provide assistance where these cites or towns might be;
and if anyone has information on these families it would certainly be
      appreciated.

      Thanks,

      Bruce

          To Mr.Bruce Morison

          Dear Mr.Morison,
I am a genealogist of slovenian origin.
The place where Johan Marolt and Marija Mestek were married is called Velike Lasce.
I can help you with research there.
Before looking at any Selo, I would get the marriage certificate of the two, to have better info of places, where they were from and their parents. There are 24 places in Slovenia, that have this name.
          Best regards,
          Vladimir Bohinc
