First, the Ellis Island Data Base is the site where volunteers have
transcribed the names of millions of people that entered the US between
1892 and 1924 (?). You can read about it
at http://www.ellisisland.org/ and register to use the site as well.

The Morse site is a private site that allows you to search the EIDB in ways
that aren't available through the EIDB. Information and instructions at:
        http://home.pacbell.net/spmorse/ellis/ellis.html

If you haven't used either, both are fantastic opportunities for gathering
information on your immigrant ancestors if they came through Ellis Island.
