Looking for Slovak name of Andrasvagas, Sapinecz and Delejthe. These are the Hungarian village names found, I believe. Not sure what counties they are in.

Good work Tom P. Makes sense as the Hungarian name in 1907 - Sosfured -
means 'salty baths' and the 'Sch' is close enough sound for the Hungarian
                              'S'.

Also, when I get a partial image, it often means that the internet is lsow
or there's a great demand on the LDS server.
I refresh the whole page ( press F5 or click the refresh button) and it
                              seems to work fine.

I am new here, my grandparents came from Humenne area (Pichne and Snina) in the early 1900's. I have found http://www.cisarik.com/index.html to be very helpful with surname and town/ village spellings. Sh could be Sj or Sz. My grandma spoke a Carpatho-Rusyn dialect. I never knew my grandfather, he was killed in a coal mine explosion when my mother was 13 years old.

The roads are pretty good throughout eastern Slovakia. Except for a few sections we would refer to as highways, all roads are two lane. It is the driving style of Slovaks that is the problem. Because there are a fair amount of truck traffic that goes relatively slow the Slovaks are notorious about passing even in dangerous situations. There is an “unwritten” rule of the road that everyone will pull as far as possible to the outside of their lane to create a space to avoid a head on collision.

don't get scared - there are super trains and buses - tho Bratislava is the other end of the world from Pichne.

and another good way to go is to hire someone to meet your bus or train and drive you to your villages.
