      >>> I'm looking for the Demko"s of Horne Opatovce. It use to be in the
Chechoslavakia but in 1969 the check government deleted it off the maps
because of an eco disaster.  I now know it is somewhere in Slovakia, now.
But where would the records be today.  Either jewish or RC, I'm not sure on
      that piont. <<<

I don't know where you got your (mis)information from but the village is
still on maps and the church records are available at your nearest LDS
      Family History Center.

The small village is located 2.5 km southwest of Ladomerska Vieska.

LDS has Roman Catholic and Evangelical parish registers of baptisms,
marriages, deaths, and confirmations for Hornie Opatovce (Horne Opatowce,
Horne Opatowcze, Horní Opátowce), Slovakia formerly FelsÅ`-Apáthi
      (FelschÅ`-Apáthi, FelsÅ`apáti, Opatdorf), Bars, Hungary.
