      Dear Daniel:

In regard to the surname KOUDELKA, ANCESTRY.COM has the following entry:

      1. 1. nickname for someone with tow-colored hair, from a derivative
      of koudel ‘tow’.
      2. 2. habitational name for someone from a village in Moravia called
      Koudelov.

The -KA ending is another diminutive suffix. The -OV in the town name is
possessive type of suffix. The root is KOUDEL and it is apparently Czech
      in origin.

I hope that this helps a little.

      Best regards,

      David
