      It's also tricky because there seems to be no consistent pattern about
      what language the town name is in. For example, the current names are
      usually not the ones they are listed under, tho it's noted in the
      description. If you put in Sabinov (current name) in the computer,
      nothing comes up, as it's under Kis-Zeben, but the Hungarian census
      listing is under the Latin name of Cibinium.

      Also, the country is not always given as Slovak Republic.. many are
      under Austria or more of them Hungary. Some Czechoslovakia. I've seen
      one or two references to records held in Poland now, so they are listed
      under that.

      Basically, if its a certain town you are interested in, you need to get
      all the names of it through the years and check all the possibilities.
      The Slovak Republic is generally well filmed, but finding them can be
      tricky.

      As someone said, if you get really stuck, call the main library in SLC.
      Chances are there is no volunteer at your local FHC who can help you
      with this, unless they are also researching in the Austria-Hungary area.
