> Is the same true for Czech parish records at the FHCs?
The Czech government never permitted the LDS to film records
at the Czech Archives (and no plans to do so)
Their Archives are making too much money (USD $) from rich Americans
who are researching ancestors.
They also limit the records usage at their archives to visitors
(only so many books per day)
They research surname records from the Czech Archives and write a
narrative report written only in Czech.
Spend more time translating such reports to English than ever
transliterating Slovak Archive reports, because most researchers
use the LDS microfilms (unless they are lazy, have no nearby FHC, or
have no time and are rich as well) :-)
