      I, too, am leaning towards what Bohdana says. There are a lot of BRATKO immigrants coming from Galicia (today's southern Poland), which were populated with Lemkos (Rusyns living north of the Carpathians.) Often names that end in TKO are Rusyn/Lemko surnames.
