Julie --
I am interested in your reply.
My ancestors were from Pichne -- I've accessed the census record but can't locate that municipality.
Am I doing something wrong or is it somewhere else or doesn't exist?

“Slovakia, Census,1869” digital images, familysearch.org (https://familysearch.org/search/collection/list#page=1&region=EUROPE: accessed on July 28, 2012.), click on Szepes, then Kolbach (Studenec), entry for Kozlik household, house 45.

Welcome to the list, Christine! There seems to be problems with the Slovak World list; I'm not sure if the moderator is AWOL or what. There is another group, Slovak Spot, http://groups.google.com/group/slovak-spot. It's not super-chatty but there are very knowledgeable people there. Slovak Spot formed in part because people were having trouble getting onto Slovak World.

If anyone wants to take a closer look at the census document that Christine is referring to, the URL is https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1961-28478-2924-29?cc=1986782&wc=MMRC-HRJ:1453241295. Or if you follow the path she mentioned above, it's image 130.

The same word might be written on this page, where the letters look more like Allisrt: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1942-28478-2898-30?cc=1986782&wc=MMRC-HRJ:1453241295; that's image 106 in the same group.
