      HELP PROTECT SANTA CLARA COUNTY OPEN SPACE
      PAID, PART-TIME SUMMER INTERNSHIP

      · Are you interested in helping preserve the high quality Santa Clara
      County's environment?
      · Do you have basic research and word processing skills?
      · Are you available 20 hours a week and can make a six week commitment?

      Then why not join a coalition of local environmental organizations and
      activists in an effort to protect Santa Clara County's open space,
      hillsides and agricultural lands.





      Internship Job Description

      Skills desired: familiarity with research methods using both the internet
      and government documents; word processing and spreadsheet; written and
      verbal communication; strong initiative; commitment to social change.

      Pay: $10 per hour for maximum of 200 hours through Summer 2004

      Duties include:

      1. set up contact list database
      2. research potential donors, new contacts
      3. limited report writing
      4. other duties as assigned
