New Village Press, a transformation of New Village journal, is
seeking summer interns to help launch the press and assist in the
development of new books. It's a great opportunity to learn
small-scale publishing business. New Village Press is a project of
Architects/Designers/Planners for Social Responsibility and will be
publishing books for the field of community building.

Interns may assist in one or more of the following activities. Skills
and software used for each task are listed, however, New Village
provides informal training and ongoing mentoring, and we also expect
to learn from the students! Interns have flexibility to try
different tasks. We strive to match interns with their strongest
interests. It's a small congenial office in a cooperative office
building in San Francisco. Mac environment.
