      GRADUATE STUDENT POSITION - ECONOMIC IMPACT ANALYST - UNITED DOMESTIC
      WORKERS OF AMERICA
      Graduate student would assist in evaluating effect on California state
      budget as well as 29 county budgets of In-Home Support Service (IHSS)
      program, a federal and state entitlement program serving 300,000
      Californians who are elderly or disabled. Governor Schwarzenegger proposes
      eliminating 25% of this caseload. Work would be done with United Domestic
      Workers of America, a union inspired by Cesar Chavez, which is pioneering
      improved working conditions for IHSS workers. UDWA, affiliated with AFSCME
      and AFLCIO, expects to expand staff significantly during the 2004 year.

      UNPAID STUDENT INTERNSHIP PROGRAM - SACRAMENTO COUNTY PROBATION DEPARTMENT
