Please join us for the next "Forum at Redwood City" on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY
      4, from 6:00 - 7:30pm!

Jointly produced by Communities By Design (CBD) and the City of Redwood
City, The Forum at Redwood City will feature a presentation by SHELLEY
POTICHA, Executive Director of the new Center for Transit-Oriented
Development. She will speak on the Center's first publication, The New
Transit Town, which examines the first generation of these new communities,
highlighting best practices and deriving lessons for the next generation.

The Forum at Redwood City is cosponsored by the Association of Bay Area
Governments and the Local Government Commission. A flier for the event is
attached. Please note that the entrance fee of $10 is being waived for all
Redwood City officials and staff since Redwood City is co-sponsoring the
      event.

The Forum will be held at the Little Fox Theatre, located at 2209 Broadway
in Redwood City. Doors open at 5:30pm. (Please note that due to State
regulations, attendance at the Little Fox Theatre is limited to persons over
      21.)

The presentation and discussion will be followed by an optional, no-host
dinner with the speaker at a nearby downtown restaurant in Redwood City.

Please e-mail if you plan to attend dinner afterwards. You also may contact
      me at (650) 780-7237 or tpassanisi@...
      .

Feel free to share this information with your staff and colleagues who might
be interested in attending. We hope to see you on February 4!
