      Join us THIS THURSDAY, JANUARY 29TH to support
      students of color, immigrant students and low income students!
      See locations and times of protest events throughout the state!


      ** NEWS ALERT**
      On a related front, the University of California Student
      Association, Californians for Justice, the Equal Justice Society,
      and individual students filed a lawsuit with the California
      Supreme Court over the cutting of the Vehicle License Fee;  $148
      million in budget cuts have targeted education and other
      programs, including UC/CSU outreach programs.   For more
