      The University of California Transportation Center at Berkeley hosts the
      second Infrastructure Design Symposium on "The Art of Modern Transit
      Station Design: Connecting People, Linking Modes and Invigorating Cities",
      Alumni House, Berkeley campus. This symposium brings together
      award-winning designers, engineers, transportation professionals and
      academics to examine the design of the urban intermodal transit station,
      its evolving roles and functions, its artistic and civic character and the
