      Graduate Research Assistantship: Department of Urban and Regional
      Planning, Florida State University

      The Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Florida State University
      is offering a three-year assistantship for a doctoral student interested
      in exploring the relationship between the built environment and population
      health in conjunction with the Department's recent award of a HUD
      Community Outreach Partnership Center (COPC) grant. Candidates should
      have or be willing to develop experience working in minority communities.
      The student will work closely with an interdisciplinary group of
      researchers Rebecca Miles (Planning, Population Health), Ivonne Audirac
      (Planning, Urban Design), Emily Haymes and Lynn Panton (Exercise Science).

      Applications should be submitted by January 15, 2004 at the latest. Please
      indicate in your cover letter to the department your interest in the COPC
      GRA.
