      Environmental Justice Coalition for Water

      Field Organizer
      Job announcement
The Environmental Justice Coalition for Water (EJCW) is a network of more
than fifty grassroots groups and intermediary organizations working to
advance a progressive, community-driven policy agenda that affirmatively
addresses the water-related issues, problems, and visions of California's
low-income communities and people of color. EJCW member organizations work
on their own issue priorities, such as economic development, affordable
housing, civil rights, pollution prevention, or human health. Each has
recognized, however, that water policy has far-reaching implications for
many of these issue areas, and over the last four years have supported
efforts to link state water policy issues directly with their priorities.
EJCW works to educate and build leadership for members to become effective
water advocates locally, regionally, and statewide. We seek to inject new
