Under the direction of the Redevelopment Division Manager, the Project
Coordinator coordinates economic and redevelopment functions.
Examples of Duties: The Redevelopment Project Coordinator coordinates
planning, analysis, implementation and monitoring of redevelopment
projects and activities as directed by the Division Manager. Assists
the preparation and coordination of acquisition of real property and
relocation of owners and tenants. Prepares appropriate documents for
action by the Redevelopment Division. Updates existing City economic
development data and develops efficient methods of maintaining current
data on real estate trends, employment/training efforts and related
issues. Works with legal counsel, the Executive Director and
the preparation of exclusive agreements to negotiate, Owner
Agreements and Disposition and Development Agreements. Provides
and professional redevelopment assistance to City staff. Monitors
and federal legislation relating to redevelopment activities. Assists
the coordination and monitoring of the implementation of the City's
Source Hiring and Local Business Enterprise programs including
with contractors, retailers, job-training programs, and various

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Salary is currently under review
Salary range: $4,771 ? $5,799/mo., DOQ.
Employee paid CalPERS retirement 2% at 60.
