      Applications from graduate and postdoctoral students are now being
      accepted for the winter, summer, and fall 2004 sessions of the National
      Academies' Christine Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Internship
      Program. The program is designed to engage science, engineering,
      medical, veterinary, business, and law students in the analysis and
      creation of public policy and to familiarize them with the interactions
      of science, technology, and government. The deadline for receipt of
      application is November 1 for the January program, March 1 for the June
      program, and June 1 for the September program.
