      MIG-Hogle Ireland is seeking applications for assistant, associate and senior level planners for current and future placement as contract staff in public agencies. The positions are primarily in Southern California, but may include Northern California.

      Descriptions:
      Assistant Planner
      Applicants for the Assistant Planner positions should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in urban planning or a related field and one or more years of experience working with a city or county, preferably in the current planning and entitlement processing. Experience as an intern in a municipal planning department is acceptable. Strong written and oral communication skills are mandatory. Understanding and experience in processing CEQA documents is desirable.

      Associate Planner
      Applicants for the Associate Planner positions should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in urban planning or a related field and three or more years of experience working with a city or county, preferably in the current planning and entitlement processing. Strong written and oral communication skills and experience in presentations before advisory bodies and/or City Councils are mandatory. Applicants must have experience in processing CEQA documents.

      Senior Planner
      Applicants for the Senior Planner positions should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in urban planning or a related field and five or more years of experience working with a city or county, preferably in the current planning and entitlement processing. The applicant should have project management experience, dealing with complex projects. Strong written and oral communication skills and experience in presentations before advisory bodies and/or City Councils are mandatory. Applicants must have experience in processing CEQA documents, including Environmental Impact Reports. Experience with NEPA processing is desirable.
