The BlueGreen Alliance needs a 3-4 volunteers for a Nov 29 fundraising dinner in San Francisco starting at 5pm. This is a great opportunity to network with labor and environmental advocates while helping out. Volunteers are then welcome to attend the dinner which starts at 7:30pm.

The BlueGreen Alliance (bluegreenalliance.org) is a national nonprofit organization that unites environmental groups and labor unions to advocate for the growth in the number and quality of jobs in the clean economy by promoting renewable energy, energy efficiency and other green industries.

BGA hosts the annual Right Stuff Awards, which honors business, environmental, labor and community leaders across the country who exemplify our mission to promote a sustainable environment and economy. This year we will recognize three individuals and two organizations for their path-breaking leadership and for steering the country toward a more competitive, more responsible and more sustainable future.

      • Los Angeles Alliance for a New Economy (LAANE),
      • Larry Schweiger, President and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation,
