Job Title: Intern
Hourly Salary Range (for 10 – 19 hours per week): $12.74 - $17.13
As the Metropolitan Transportation Organization for the tri-county
(Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz) Monterey Bay region, the
Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments (AMBAG) performs a wide
range of transportation planning activities in the region. AMBAG is
currently seeking an Intern to support the technical and
administrative duties associated with the planning activities.
Applicants are required to have completed a minimum of three years of
college or university training in urban planning or a related field,
or be enrolled in a master’s program, or an equivalent combination of
experience and training.
It is an exciting time to work at AMBAG. The agency is engaged in a
very broad based range of projects. The Intern will be expected to
provide support to many of these projects using skills in the areas of
research, technical analysis, programming, statistical analysis, GIS
data analysis, report preparation, and budget management.
