      Posted: 17 May 2012 02:49 PM PDT

About the SF Transit Riders’ Union:

Founded in 2010, the SFTRU is a rider-based, grassroots organization
working to unite current and future riders to achieve an excellent,
affordable, and growing public transit system in San Francisco. Our
recent victories include successful advocacy of an all-door boarding
system on all Muni vehicles and a robust bus rapid transit system
along Van Ness Avenue. We are currently advocating for a robust bus
rapid transit system along Geary Boulevard and for the implementation
of the SFMTA’s “Transit Effectiveness Project.â€
