Which policies have helped reduce greenhouse emissions and which new
alternatives of high-capacity transport have improved the quality of
life for Mexico City residents? Secretary Quintero will talk about
main achievements in public transportation policies and mobility, and
their positive impacts on Mexico City's environment.
Bio: Bachelor of Economics at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de
México. He served as President of the Democratic Revolution Party in
México City. Quintero has been Federal Deputy and Secretary of the
Committee on Labor and Social Welfare. Deputy of Legislative Assembly
at Federal District and President of the Government Commission. In the
field of public administration Quintero was Delegational Chief for
2003-2006. Currently serves as Secretary for Transportation and Roads
at Mexico City Government, position he has held since 2006.
