      The Urban and Regional Planning Department at San Jos� State University is
      searching for a part-time instructor to teach Seminar in Urban and Regional
      Planning (UrbP 200) in the Fall 2011 semester.

      The class provides an overview of the historical development of urban and
      regional planning in the United States, as well as prominent theories of
      urban planning practice. The class also emphasizes the connection between
      the theoretical and historical material and current planning practice.

      The ideal candidate will have:

      - Academic and/or professional experience in private development and urban

      - A master�s degree (required).

      This course will be offered on Tuesdays, 4:00 � 6:45 p.m. Classes start in
      August 25, 2011.

      to the degree of Master of Urban Planning. This program, accredited by the
      Planning Accreditation Board, is designed to prepare skilled professionals
      who are well grounded in the theories, methods, and techniques of planning
      in local, regional, and state government for the purpose of improving the
