Land Use and Climate change panel discussion on March 30, 2011 (Wednesday)
- This panel discussion event brings together local, regional and non-profit perspectives at the same forum to highlight issues associated with establishing the land use-climate change connection - in the realm of both, policy design as well as its implementation. The discussion will shed light on common themes, key differences and opportunities for improved partnerships at the local and regional level.
The speakers for the event are:
Deborah Nelson, Planning Manager, City of San Carlos, led the award-winning CAP/GP update for the City
Michael McCormick, Climate Change and Sustainability Services Manager at PMC, extensive experience working with several cities and counties in the Bay Area and throughout California
Sigalle Michael, Senior Environmental Planner, Planning and Research, BAAQMD
