      SJSU's student-run Urban Planning Coalition has lined up the next event in its Speaker Series: Public-private partnerships (PPP) to fund urban infrastructure: Lessons from India.

      Date: February 8th

      Overview: Large proportion of local governments – both in the developed and developing countries – are fiscally constrained, and welcome private investment into urban infrastructure.

      In this presentation Dr. Shishir Mathur will review a variety of recently developed PPP projects in India. The projects represent a wide spectrum of infrastructure, ranging from city bus service to solid waste processing plant.

      Location: San Jose State University, Clark Hall room 100H – Large Fishbowl
