      GIS Day is an annual international event that advances the field of
      geospatial technology using map displays, lightning talks, and hands-
      on activities that are accessible to GIS newbies and pros alike. It's
      a great way to learn more about GIS job opportunities and to meet
      other students and professionals that use GIS to solve local and
      regional problems. The events are free and open to everyone.
