      The Presidio Trust is a Federal government corporation that manages and
      protects the Presidio of San Francisco as part of the National Park
      System. The Trust is now accepting applications for the following Federal
      excepted-service position.


      Provides support for the redevelopment of Fort Scott—a historic campus
      located near the Golden Gate Bridge. Building upon the Presidio’s 200 plus
      year history as a military base, the Trust is considering developing the
      iconic Fort Scott campus into a place that brings together leaders across
      sectors - non-profit, government, academic and business - to respond to
      today’s national priorities through service. The Project Coordinator
      supports the Fort Scott Project Manager and an interdepartmental team.

      Duties include assisting with the development of both print and electronic
      materials; collaborating with the Trust’s real estate, finance and program
      groups to develop a business plan that addresses the economic and
      programmatic impact of Fort Scott; assisting with physical site planning
      of Fort Scott in close coordination with the Planning Department;
      collaborating with the Trust’s Volunteer Coordinator to promote a Parkwide
      “service” initiative engaging tenants, residents, and partners; conducting
      research on national service programs, non-profit capacity building,
      leadership training, public policy, and grant opportunities; developing,
      administering, and maintaining a system for tracking, recording and
      communicating project progress to Trust management staff, and the public;
      assisting with tours and public presentations on Fort Scott; helping to
      develop a communication strategy aimed at internal and external audiences;
      assisting with branding and messaging of Fort Scott to create marketing
      materials; providing support for media, government relations, and
      legislative aspects of Fort Scott; responding to public inquiries on a
      range of project issues; coordinating and arranging conference calls,
      meetings, and workshops, preparing agendas, reserving facilities,
      recording/ transcribing minutes, and tracking follow-up ideas; helping to
      evaluate and make staff recommendations on project priorities to increase
      management’s ability to make informed and timely decisions; assisting with
      the selection of consultants, including establishing “scope of work” and
      deliverables; and assisting with monitoring, management, and oversight of
      consultant services. Full time position with benefits, not to exceed one

      Requires bachelor’s degree in urban planning, business management,
      economics, public policy, finance, or public administration; 3 years of
      experience in planning, project development, program delivery; solid
      computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook,
      PowerPoint and Excel; ability to work effectively with planners, design
      professionals, elected official’s staff members, contractors, volunteers,
      and the general public; excellent communication and organizational skills;
      excellent interpersonal skills (including public speaking and community
      outreach experience), excellent writing skills, a strong work ethic, and a
      strong customer service orientation. Experience working in the non-profit
      or government sectors, experience with service and/or non-profit
      organizations (i.e. Teach for America, City Year, Student Conservation
      Association), experience overseeing program design and delivery,
      experience with volunteer management, and graphic design skills are
