      WHO:
Don Weden, Former Santa Clara County Principal Planner

      WHAT:
ULI South Bay & The Silicon Valley Leadership Group Brownbag: "Cities for All Ages" How the Aging Population Will Build Support for Higher Density Infill Development

By 2030, demographers project that one-fourth of Silicon Valley's adult residents are likely to be over 65 years old, as the Baby Boom Generation ages. Many will be non-driving seniors living in communities planned primarily around the automobile.

Come join the ULI South Bay Programs Committee and the Silicon Valley Leadership Group for this afternoon brownbag and learn how this dramatic demographics shift will change the ways cities think about and plan for their future development – putting greater emphasis on the creation of walkable urban neighborhoods.

Free, for ULI and Silicon Valley Leadership Group members only.
      $15 for non-members.

      WHERE:
777 North 1st Street, Mezzanine Level, San Jose
