      the thriving San Jose urban center. Learn about San Jose’s award-winning
      “Green Vision”and tour their award winning City Hall and Civic Center,
      Downtown Commercial Historic District, theater arts and entertainment
      district, and the historic Diridon Station area.

      9:00 a.m. Registration & Refreshments (Meet at San Jose City Hall, 200 E.
      Santa Clara Street, by the water feature in front of the dome)

      9:15 a.m. Welcome and City Context Presentation - City of San Jose
       Learn about the San Jose Envision 2040 + award-winning Green Vision

      10:45 a.m. Downtown Walking Tour
       Award-wining City Hall and Civic Center
       Martin Luther King Library (Joint City of San Jose/San Jose State
      University Library)
       88 Mixed-Use Tower–Residential tower w/ground-floor urban market model
       SoFA District – Galleries and Historic California Theatre

      12:00 p.m. Lunch (On your own) - Restaurant choices include: Café Trieste,
      Il Fornaio, Original Joe’s

      1:00 p.m. Downtown Tour continues
       Tech Museum, Museum of Modern Art, St. Joseph’s Cathedral
       San Pedro Square and learn about the proposed San Pedro Urban Square
      Project
       Historic De Anza Hotel
       Tour the Diridon Station Area – The transit hub that includes Caltrain,
      VTA Light Rail, planned BART Station, planned High Speed Rail and proposed
      Major League Ballpark + visit new surrounding high-density residential
      in-fill projects
       Tour historic The Alameda District

      4:00 p.m. Tour concludes – Planner Mixer (Location TBD)

      6.00 CM Credits pending

      Cost: $ 100 APA Members
      $ 135 Non-APA Members
      $ 35 Students

      All funds collected from this program will be used to fund
      CPF student scholarships
