"Silicon Valley: A Global Magnet" is the theme for an SJSU Silicon Valley
Center for Global Innovation and Immigration workshop beginning at 8:30
a.m. Friday, January 29, in Engineering 189. The event will highlight two
outstanding researchers, Professor Jan English-Lueck on "Deep Diversity
and Silicon Valley," and Assistant Professor Kathrine Richardson on "The
New Location Advantage: Using the Power of Place to Attract Global
Talent." The talks are open to researchers, practitioners, public
servants, policy makers, opinion-shapers and all who care about the
