      Internships and/or Part-time Positions
      The part-time intern or employee provides research, administrative, and
      executive assistance for multiple activities related to the research and
      academic efforts related to one or more of the following projects:
       Documenting the Burden of Asthma on Schools;
       Youth development and student engagement in community environmental
      projects;
       Reclaiming our Black and Latino youth (youth development);
       Review of income and children’s health status; and
       Other projects related to health, education, land use, and urban
      planning.

      Tasks may include:
       Literature reviews;
       Data analysis, both quantitative and qualitative;
       Design of survey and interview instruments;
       Interviews of policy makers;
       Data collection;
       Committee on Human Subjects Approval forms and renewals; and
       Drafting documents, reports, and articles.

      Projects may also require coordination with other researchers and other
      project participants.
      Several projects relate to grant proposals, and, if successful, the
      position(s) may become full-time.

      Qualifications:
       Excellent writing and communication skills;
       Excellent organizational skills;
       Background in public health, public policy, and/or City and Regional
      Planning;
       Qualitative or quantitative research skills,
       Knowledge of environmental issues and public health is a plus.

      Salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
