Planning / Land Use Experience:
CirclePoint, a leading strategic communications and environmental planning
firm, has an immediate opening for an Assistant Planner in San Francisco,
CA to assist in the preparation of environmental documents. Duties will
include writing, communication, coordination, and research for a wide
range of environmental projects.
Skill Requirements: The position requires the ability to conduct research,
coordinate project activities, and analyze the results of research. Strong
analytical, computer, and writing skills are a must.
Experience Requirements: Bachelors degree in environmental studies,
geography, natural resources, urban planning or related field. Knowledge
of the land entitlement process in California including processing of
applications, preparation of staff reports and conditions of approval, and
regulatory permit processes is also desirable. Entry-level applicants or
those with one to two years experience are invited to apply. Experience
working with a consulting firm is preferable but not mandatory.
