      The Marchese Co. is seeking a full time planner to support a small project
      team assigned to help secure planning and regulatory approvals for
      construction of a new medical center in San Francisco and other related
      projects. Duties will involve preparation of permit applications,
      participation in public outreach programs, and preparation of materials
      for public hearings before the San Francisco Planning Commission and Board
      of Supervisors.

      This work will be coordinated with the project sponsor and other
      consultants providing legal, architectural, building, environmental, and
      traffic and transportation services.

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
      Knowledge of basic planning principles and land use regulatory practices.
      Ability to organize and conduct investigations, prepare reports, memos and
      letters related to entitlement and public outreach activities.
      Internet-savvy and highly computer literate, with mastery of Microsoft
      Office software. Active listening skills needed

      Experience and Training:
      Completion of a four year college or university, with a baccalaureate
      degree, and two years of urban planning experience or an equivalent
      combination of training and experience.
