Helpful information on APA National 2008 Las Vegas
I wanted to remind everyone about APA National 2008 Las Vegas Student
Posters. The submission deadline for proposal is October 16, 2007.
The proposal can be submitted online at:
The student poster is a great way of showcasing a students
research/projects. The proposal is just an abstract of the
project/research being brought to the Student Poster Session which is
Tuesday, April 29, 2008, noon2:30 p.m.
APA-SRC has arranged to have a block of hotel room at the Flamingo
Hotel especially for students only.
All rooms are double-queens; rates are $149 single/double Additional
persons will be charged at a rate of $30 per person, per night, with
maximum of four persons per guestroom.
The major room block begins on Sunday, April 27, 2008. At least one
person staying in a guestroom must be 21years of age or older.
To reserve a room call: 1-888-373-9855. Individuals must identify
themselves as part of the American Planning Association to receive the
special group rate. Deadline: Thursday, March 27, 2008 More

Student Volunteer Program:
Student may volunteer for 8 hours and earn back the early registration
fee. APA receives a lot of applications, so apply early. You can get
