      JOB ANNOUNCEMENT - PROGRAM ADMIN ASSOCIATE
      Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley is seeking an energetic
      individual motivated by the opportunity to assist elderly and
      disabled homeowners remain in their homes in safety and dignity.
      This Full–Time position supports the work of Rebuilding Together to
      assure that the mission of the agency is successfully carried out.
      Develop your own skills as you help grow this community organization
      that makes a tangible difference in people's lives.

      Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

      • Process client applications and coordinate client review and
      screening process, including telephone interviews and written
      communication on application status.

      • Support volunteer preview teams in assessing client eligibility.

      • Maintain applicant and volunteer database, manage client files and
      pre and post project paperwork

      • Assist with tracking, correspondence and acknowledgment with
      clients & volunteers

      • Support volunteer coordination and supervision

      • Support program outreach to partner organizations

      • Respond to general inquiries by phone, letter and e-mail, process
      mail, make bank deposits, inventory and order office supplies and
      manage office equipment maintenance

      • Provide administrative support to program staff

      • Support volunteer appreciation activities

      • Other duties as assigned

      Qualifications and Skills:
      Two years of customer service, social services, executive assistant,
      or related work experience. Ability to perform duties with minimum
      of supervision, well organized and detail orientated. Strong written
      and verbal communication skills with a diplomatic and supportive
      style. Bi-lingual English-Spanish preferred.

      Ability to be flexible, adaptable and a the willingness to work as a
      team with clients, volunteers and staff. Working knowledge of
      using standard office equipment and office computer programs Word,
      Excel. Commitment to serving low-income homeowners.

      Hours:
      FT, 40 hours a week with occasional evenings and weekends hours
      support rebuilding program activities.

      Compensation: Depends on Experience $12-14/Hour

      JOB ANNOUNCEMENT - PROJECT MANAGER
      Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley is seeking an energetic
      individual motivated by the opportunity to assist elderly and
      disabled homeowners remain in their homes in safety and dignity.

      This Full–Time position provides construction project supervision
      and management to the Neighbor 2 Neighbor program and coordination
      support to Rebuilding Project Days.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      Project Management
      • Supervise and manage off – season renovation and repair projects
      • Supervise and support expansion of Neighbor 2 Neighbor program
      • Facilitate completion of unfinished RD projects
      • Coordinate and supervise bid and scheduling of outside vendor
      projects, ie: roofing, heating
      • Conduct site visit assessments; inspect and assess projects for
      minor and major repairs.
      • Serve as a resource for volunteer leaders on RD and N2N projects,
      providing technical assistance as required.
      • Assist with development of initial scope of work and determine
      tasks for skilled and unskilled volunteers
      • Coordinate building permit process as needed, ensuring all jobs
      conform to local and state building codes.

      Materials Management
      • Works with RT volunteers, committee and staff to coordinate bulk
      purchase and distribution of materials to support RD and N2N programs
      • Creates and maintains relationships with major vendors and in-kind
      donors
      • Coordinates warehouse order process and distribution of materials
      for RD activities

      Warehouse Management
      • Oversees warehouse volunteers and organization of warehouse stock
      and materials
      • Coordinates and tracks material donations including delivery and
      placement of donations

      *Qualifications*:
      -Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and work
      experience).
      -Construction experience as a contractor, construction manager or
      project manager.
      -Minimum of five years experience in program/project management.
      -Strong written and oral communication skills with a strong customer
      service regard.
      -Bi-lingual English-Spanish preferred.
      -Willingness to be flexible, adaptable and work as a team with
      clients, volunteers and staff.
      -Working knowledge of using standard office equipment and office
      computer programs Word, Excel.
      -Commitment to serving low-income homeowners.
      - Own transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.
      -Ability to deal with physically demanding requirements of the job
      including lifting a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.

      Hours: FTE, 40 hours a week with evening and weekends hours.

      Compensation: Depends on Experience $22-25/Hour
