ARCHITECTURAL HISTORY INTERN - UNDERGRADUATE
Page & Turnbull, an award-winning preservation architecture firm in San Francisco, is looking for an undergraduate intern for a full-time summer position to enhance our team. You will be part of our Cultural Resources Studio, working closely with the Cultural Resources Studio team and reporting to the Senior Architectural Historian. Your responsibilities will include assisting with administrative tasks, organizing project archives, conducting research, and helping with field survey work as needed.
Candidates must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program and majoring in historic preservation, American History, urban studies, conservation, architecture, art history, anthropology or similar discipline. Qualifications include:
ú Outstanding research, writing, proofreading and editing skills.
ú Experience in surveying, researching, and preparing a variety of historic documentation reports.
ú Knowledge of architectural history and/or historic building techniques.
ú Ability to work on a team.
ú Strong organization skills.
ú Fluency with Microsoft Word, experience with PageMaker (or InDesign) and Photoshop. AutoCAD a plus, but not required.
